National Home prices up after 3 years

Data from the S&P Case Schiller Index show home prices in July (latest data) rose1.6% and in June 1.4%, making 3 straight months. This index gathers data from 20 metro areas and had shown prices in decline for the last 3 years. The Reuters poll also showed increases of 1.7% in July and 1.4% in June in their 10 city index.
